Over at sounddesign.sva.edu is a listing for what looks like a promising program, what appears to be sound design being taught in the manner of graphic design, with a strong emphasis on what I might call applied aesthetics. Some great instructors, including Steven Heller. It appears to have run for two weeks this year, from June 11 through June 22, but there’s only one blog post, and it dates from March of 2011.
It appears to be associated with the Red Hot organization — which is to say, while it is actively a “sounds of brands” project, is also a “brands of sounds” project,” in that it helps build the Red Hot brand.
